Preparing for Thinking Day

Last Friday's meet was a long one, but the girls all worked so hard for their up coming event. Thinking Day is this Thursday. It is where each troop picks a country and they share the information they learned about that country with the other troops. Our country is Sweden. The girls work very hard on the swaps that will be given to the other troops. They did such a great job.

I know you can't see it very well. But it's a pin made out of beads and safty pins. I will post a update on how the event went asap

Manners

At our last two meeting the girls have been earning their manners try-it. And Friday they finished. They all did a very good job, their manners improve greatly, I'm sure they're the same way at home.

After finishing up with the try-its, we made really cute valentine dog tags. I hope you moms and dads have seen them, if not check them out.

It was Arianna's Birthday. Happy Birthday!!

Dear Soldier: Merry Christmas

Last night at our meeting the girls wrote Christmas cards to recovering soldiers. There were probably 100+ signed. They are very sweet girls some wrote messages and others drew pictures.

A Special Thanks and Merry Christmas to our Soldiers and Troops!!

Fire Station

In October we took the girls on a field trip to the fire station in Friendswood. We were given a tour of the station, and were able to look through a fire truck. I think they really enjoy themselves. They were very well behaved. We all had a great time. The learned alot and the trip was a success.
